Cherry Audio 에서 신제품 Octave Cat 복각 신스를 발표하였습니다.
이 소프트신스는 1976년에 출시된 Octave Electronics 사의 the CAT 오리지널 하드웨어신디사이저를 복각한 제품입니다.
Octave Electronics 사의 the CAT 신디사이저의 오리지널 디자이너인 Carmine Bonanno 과 함께 콜라보레이션하여 만든 virtual synthesizer instrument 입니다. 그래서 오리지널 하드웨어신스의 fat and savage duophonic sound 를 그대로 재현하고 특히 the CAT 의 독특한 느낌의 aggressive resonant four-pole 24 dB/oct filter 를 그대로 살렸다고 합니다.
디지털로 복원하였기 때문에 오리지널 Monophonic, duophonic 보이스 뿐만 아니라 polyphonic (최대 16 voices) voice mode 도 지원합니다.
AU, VST, VST3, AAX 포맷과 standalone 을 모두 지원하며 가격은 $49 입니다.
